Cuckoo clocks since 1848
THE SOUND OF THE BLACK FOREST
Cuckoo clocks you don't just hear - you feel.

About Us
The year is 1848. A young clockmaker named Anton Schneider sits in his farmhouse workshop high above Schonach, building a clock—not just any clock, but one that comes to life. What began in that quiet workshop would endure for 177 years: through wars, economic crises, and the profound transformation of an entire industry. At Anton Schneider, time is not merely measured—it becomes history.
Six generations later, the name has come to symbolize what the Black Forest is known for around the world. Today, the heart of the manufactory beats in Gütenbach—using the same linden wood, the same movement, and the same cuckoo that has been announcing the hour since 1848.

Certificate of Authenticity
Original Black Forest Cuckoo-Clock
Anton Schneider Söhne is a member of the "Verein die Schwarzwälder Uhr" (VdS) - the official seal of quality for authentic Black Forest cuckoo clocks. Only manufacturers who can demonstrate that they produce their clocks in the Black Forest and meet strict quality standards are permitted to bear this certification.
For you, this means: Every Anton Schneider clock is guaranteed to be an original - handcrafted in Germany and tested for quality and authenticity. No imports, no replicas - just genuine Black Forest craftsmanship bearing the seal trusted by collectors and connoisseurs worldwide.

Every clock bears our signature
Before a cuckoo clock leaves our workshop, many hands have touched it - inspecting it, adjusting it, and bringing it to life. We assemble each movement by hand, listen to every cuckoo, and only stand behind it with our warranty once we ourselves are satisfied.
That's not a process. That's conviction.
